1. Copy INI files to Windows directory:
a. Use Explorer to open T:\TWS\INIFILES directory.
b. Copy all 4 files listed to the C:\WINDOWS directory.
NOTE: Open RS_RUN.INI with Notepad and make sure that all path statements use the correct drive letter for your TWS directory.
2. Make ReportSmith Registry entries.
a. START | RUN | REGEDIT
b. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | BORLAND
c. Right click on BORLAND key: NEW | KEY
d. The new key name will be: ReportSmith (exactly as you see it here - casing, spaces and capitalization matter).
e. Right click on the ReportSmith key: NEW | KEY
f. The new key name will be: 3.00 (3 dot zero zero)
g. Right click on the 3.00 key: NEW | STRING VALUE
h. You are now working on the right hand side of the window.
Type the string name: Runtime Directory (exactly as you see it here - casing, spaces and capitalization matter).
i. Double click on Runtime Directory and edit the string - add the Value Data: T:\TWS\RS_RUN32
j. Close Registry.
